“And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient, who, when disaster strikes them, say, ‘Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.’ Those are the ones upon whom [descend] blessings from their Lord and mercy. And those are the [rightly] guided.”

With great sorrow and deep sadness, the Director General of the Telecommunications and Post Regulatory Authority (TPRA) and all the Authority’s staff mourn the passing of Engineer:Heba Yaqoub Mohamed Fagiri, Director of the Information Center in Red Sea State,
who passed away while performing her duty in Khartoum on the night of Saturday, November 1st, 2025, following a tragic fire incident at her residence. We consider her, God willing, among the martyrs.
At a time when Sudan continues to endure difficult circumstances known to all, her passing leaves a profound sense of loss and renews the pain that our nation endures.
Engineer Heba was a true example of dedication and selfless service، fulfilling her national duty under the most challenging conditions, working quietly behind the scenes to be part of Sudan’s digital transformation story.
She departed this world while performing her duty, and we pray that Allah accepts her as a martyr.
May Allah the Almighty envelop her with His vast mercy, grant her a place in His eternal paradise among the martyrs and the righteous, and grant patience and comfort to her family and loved ones.
