Girls in ICT Day 2025

# Girls in ICT for inclusive digital transformation

In line with its ongoing commitment to empowering girls and enhancing their participation in the fields of telecommunications and information technology, the Telecommunications and Post Regulatory Authority (TPRA) of Sudan organized special activities to celebrate Girls in ICT Day 2025.

Despite the major challenges facing the country — including economic and security crises that have severely impacted various sectors such as education and training — the Authority reaffirms that these obstacles have not and will not deter its national responsibility to build the capacities of girls and prepare them for active engagement in the global digital revolution. The TPRA places a high priority on supporting Sudanese girls, particularly those in crisis-affected areas, through specialized programs and training initiatives designed to strengthen their technical and innovative skills.

Accordingly, two specialized training workshops were organized this year, targeting girls from different age groups, with the aim of equipping them with the essential digital skills for the future.
