Each year, TPRA hosts 60–70 graduates from various fields to perform their mandatory national service. During this year-long program, participants receive a monthly salary and are evaluated monthly through reports submitted to the National Service Administration.
Throughout their time at TPRA, participants rotate through various departments, gaining comprehensive training and practical experience. At the end of the program, they are awarded a certificate of experience, enhancing their employability and providing a strong foundation for future career opportunities.
In its efforts to enhance digital skills and empower girls in Sudan, TPRA has organized a series of specialized training courses aimed at developing the capabilities of girls in ICT fields. This initiative aligns with TPRA’s strategy to promote girls’ participation in the digital transformation process and contribute to sustainable development while implementing the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) guidelines on empowering girls in ICT (Girls in ICT).
These courses covered various fields, including application programming, software development, and fundamental digital skills enhancement. The programs targeted school and university students, as well as women in rural and remote areas, reflecting TPRA’s commitment to providing equal opportunities for all.
This initiative supports TPRA’s vision of building an inclusive digital society, as these programs have strengthened participants’ capabilities and enabled them to enter the digital job market and contribute effectively to the growing digital economy.
TPRA emphasized that these initiatives are a vital step toward empowering women and achieving digital equality. It continues its efforts to launch more programs and projects that aim to enhance the role of girls and women in the telecommunications and technology sectors, in line with ITU guidelines and strategic objectives.
