Process Description

- Software as a Service (SaaS)
- Platform as a Service (PaaS)
- Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
The license is divided into six categories:
- Cloud Service Provider (First Category):
- This license is considered first-class according to the Licensing Regulation for the Telecommunications and Postal Sector of 2019.
- It is granted to licensed telecommunications service providers of the first class and allows them to offer all cloud computing services.
- Cloud Service Provider (Second Category):
- This license is classified as second-class per the Licensing Regulation for the Telecommunications and Postal Sector of 2019.
- It is granted to entities owning data centers established within Sudan and allows the provision of all cloud computing services.
- Cloud Service Provider (Third Category – A):
- This license is classified as third-class per the Licensing Regulation for the Telecommunications and Postal Sector of 2019.
- It is granted to any entity offering cloud computing services without owning a data center, renting resources from the data center owner, and providing the service via its issued service agreements. A contract between the provider and the data center owner is required.
- Cloud Service (Third Category – B):
- This license is classified as third-class per the Licensing Regulation for the Telecommunications and Postal Sector of 2019.
- It is granted to any entity offering cloud computing services without owning a data center, renting resources from the data center owner, and providing the service via its issued service agreements. A contract between the provider and the data center owner is required.
- Cloud Service Provider (Third Category – C):
- This license is classified as third-class per the Licensing Regulation for the Telecommunications and Postal Sector of 2019.
- It is granted to entities delivering cloud computing services through their private data centers, restricted to providing only Software as a Service (SaaS).
- Data Center Service Provider:
- This license is classified as third-class per the Licensing Regulation for the Telecommunications and Postal Sector of 2019

- Cloud Service Provider (First Category):

- Cloud Service Provider (Second Category):

- Cloud Service Provider (Third Category – A):

- It is granted to any entity offering cloud computing services without owning a data center, renting resources from the data center owner, and providing the service via its issued service agreements. A contract between the provider and the data center owner is required.
