Under the generous patronage of the Minister of Digital Transformation and Communications, Eng. Ahmed Dardiri Ghandour, and Dr. Eng. Elsadig Gamaleldeen, Undersecretary of the Ministry, and with the support and attention of the Attorney General, Maulana Intisar Ahmed Abdel-Aal, the Sudanese Computer Emergency Response Team (Sudan CERT) organized a specialized training workshop targeting prosecutors from the Cybercrime Prosecution Offices in Red Sea State, held in Port Sudan.

This workshop comes as part of the Ministry’s and the Center’s efforts to strengthen national cybersecurity capabilities and combat cybercrime, while empowering legal professionals to effectively address challenges in the evolving digital landscape.

The workshop commenced on Sunday, October 12, and will continue until Thursday, October 16, 2025, featuring interactive sessions, hands-on exercises, and discussion panels aimed at enhancing participants’ efficiency in addressing cybercrimes and dealing with emerging digital challenges.

The initiative coincides with Global Cybersecurity Awareness Month (October), held this year under the theme “Stay safe on the Internet,” reaffirming Sudan’s commitment to raising public awareness and enhancing professional training in the field of cybersecurity, while advancing toward national and global cyber excellence.

The Telecommunications and Post Regulatory Authority (TPRA) reaffirms its full support for such national initiatives that contribute to enhancing Sudan’s cyber resilience and building a secure, sustainable digital infrastructure to advance digital transformation across the country.
